    Catback conversion for FD1

I'm sorry if this seems a stupid question guys, but has anyone installed a catback exhaust conversion to their FD1? I'm wanting to buy a kit from the US. However, most of their catback products are for the USDM Si models. I'm not too sure if these will fit the FD's that we've got over here.

If anyone has any information on what type of catback exhaust I need (that will fit) and whereabouts I could source these parts in Australia, plz PM as that would be much appreciated.

    Cheers

usdm si catback will not fit an fd1

best is to probably just get an exhaust shop to machine you up a custom header and catback exhaust.

otherwise i know there are a few aftermarket exhausts floating around over seas in SE asia like singapore/hk etc

edit: such as this one from fujitsubo (legalis r)

the USDM civic models ex/lx/dx use the 1.8L found in the AUDM civic (R18a)
these are very similar in design of the FD1 exhaust .. but unable to confirm if they will actually fit

not sure if its the same, but if u use a jdm exhaust for k20 / fd2.
the b pipe will be a bit shorter and wont fit in ur fd1. u can get 2 jdm flanges then get an exhaust shop to extend the pipe to connect the exhaust with ur header.
