    How many KMs driven?

    Hi all,

Just a quick survey, how many KMs have you driven in your car? Can you physically feel the wear and tear, in comparison with say 1/2 the number of KMs ago?

    Much appreciated

well I have 194000km on my teg, but since I've owned it I've only done 25 000km so I couldn't really tell you.

I suppose it all comes down to how you treat it etc.
I'd rather walk way from something saying "that was too hard" than walk away saying "that was too easy"

cars on 146,000km, bought it when it was 75,000km (so pretty much doubled). yeh, you can feel wear and tear.
performance is fine, engine sounds fine (though maybe a little louder)
but some interior creaks and rattles.
    chipped paint
    glass scratches
    usual stuff

    car is 99 ek1...so it's almost 10yo! EEK!

My DC5S only lasted 54000 kms before needing a new gearbox so yes the wear n tear was very much physically felt third gear...
