Bolder CR-V and Integra on show in Sydney

Bolder CR-V and Integra on show in Sydney

Updated versions of CR-V and Integra will be among the highlights on the Honda stand at this year's Australian International Motor Show.

With more than 1.7 million CR-Vs sold in 160 countries since its introduction in 1995, the popular CR-V has received subtle exterior styling changes to freshen it for 2005. Changes to the grille and front and rear bumpers give the CR-V a bolder, more purposeful appearance.

The 05 CR-V also has an upgraded audio system, instrument panel and security alarm, while the CR-V Sport gains side SRS airbags standard.

The CR-V's on-road performance is improved with Honda's RealTime 4WD system tweaked to tackle slippery, snow-covered roads, bigger wheels, tyres and disc brakes, while a five-speed automatic transmission with overdrive is offered for the first time. Side airbags are now fitted as standard on CR-V Sport models.

The Integra range has grown up for 2005 with the introduction of Integra Type S. The sporty, highly-equipped Type S adds a new level of luxury and performance to the Integra nameplate, giving it broader appeal.

Honda has revised the suspension, steering, brakes and exterior styling across the Integra range, creating a lower, sleeker sports coupe.

Pricing and equipment details will be announced when 05 CR-V and Integra go on sale later this month.

The Australian International Motor Show runs from 7-17 October at the Sydney Exhibition and Convention Centre, Darling Harbour.

i would put the pics in this thread but they're big and it would be hell for 56K users

there's also another thread about the Type S, any chance the mods can just merge them to prevent overlap?
