    CAI options...

    i having trouble coming to terms with paying $500ish for a AEM,injen or other 'name' brands CAI.
    (before you ask i want the pod mounted outside the engine bay)

    after all its a pod and a pipe?? right??
    has anyone got something cheaper, such as;

    http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...n%3D3%26ps%3D5

    for $140ish i could have a pipe and a pod imported from the U.S.

    anyone had a pipe fabricated for themselves??

    looking to buy in the next week or so...

    so what are your ideas guys???

    btw i have a 94 crx b16a2.

    you can make it ur self that will save u money.
    but make it to like a mugen design where the length of the pod from the tb is still retained and then jst box it up either using fiberglass, aluminum or this freezer insulator u can get from clark rubber, then jst simply put a flexible pipe through the hole in the chassis where the standard one ran through.
    last time i made one cost me about 60 bucks
