09 GLI Gear Changing Problem ?

hi everyone, i just picked up my GLI on last Monday. I find out the gear changing is not quite smooth....especially upshifting (1st gear to 2nd gear). my car has done 150km already. i'm just wondering if it is normal coz it's still in run-in period? Also, anyone here did change the engine oil when 5000km?
    Thanks in advance !

Yes, I have the same prblem on my 09 1.5 jazz. The shit from 1st to 2nd is very harsh. A random thing I found is that the shifts are smoother if the car is using 91 instead of 96.

Mine has done about 7000km now but the harsh shifting has been there since day 1. Come to think of it, I am not sure if the shifts are getting smoother now due to the greater kms or the 91 i am using.

Mine is not smooth either. Around 1500km so far. I usually step light on 1st gear and it will change smoothly to 2nd. I then accelerate from 2nd gear. I tried E10 and it kind of give me a lethargic response. 91 is ok for me so far. Have not tried anything higher yet.
