Aftermarket power windows for EK1 99

    Hey all,

i was wondering for all of the EK1 99 owners what aftermarket power window kit they got for their car, where you got it from, and where you got it installed.

The chain on one of mine snapped =[ and i have to open my door to get a parking ticket.

    thanks in advance!

What do you mean chain? Power windows should have no chains.

Do you have OEM power windows?

You shouldnt need to get an aftermarket kit, just get a second hand regulator (I assume that is the bit you are talking about) and install that.
See a good post? Give it a PQ point.

Zdster: the chain as in the thing that rotates the gear with the motor, that was a bad explanation... think of it as a bike chain where the pedal is the motor and the wheel is the window, the chain snapped so it wont work anymore. not OEM, theyre after market

simonnowis: mine is a Cxi, the wreckers told me that it was a complicated job to get them fitted, maybe cos of different bolts etc?
