    agreed.

At the end of the day you are looking at at least $300 for the b pipe pending what kind of mid muffler you go for. another $2-300 for a decent muffler. Imho pay the $900 for a JDM exhaust which already has good fitment and MOST are well built even if it is in taiwan.

Youll be able to flog it off in a few years as opposed to your custom job which no one will want since we are all JDM whores.
If you stand for nothing, you will fall for anything.

3 inch FTW for K series.
    That applied to K20A2 / JDM K20A / K24a3 ( euro motor )
There are some back to back testing(2.5 inch vs 3 inch) on k20a.org a while ago about it.

FWIW the TODA exhaust is 60mm ID or 2.36" ID
2" OD pipe is too small - period...
If you're on a budget, get 2.5" OD mandrel bent system.
This will perform in a similar fashion to most JDM systems if made well.
Be sure to have good muflers included so it's not loud or droney.

Re 3" OD cat back systems
You can see a small gain in peak power using this size on a K-series.
However it's not so easy to make it quite.

    my 1.6 ltr had a 2 1/4".

On a K series you need a less restrictive exhuast.

Go 2.5" for a decent improvement & not too loud
Go 3" for a hardcore system

Most of the guys on k20.org said 3inch gave them more power and was more quiet than 2.5inch, win win.
