i have removed the negative terminal from the battery post, thats all you need. just make sure the terminal doesn't touch anything while you are working, just manouvre it out of the way facing up.

if you have an air bag from factory, your best to get the air bagged version of this steering wheel. the australian market DC2R got the air bagged version, should be easier to find than this one.
the one below is from a DC2R, but be careful as they look the same as the EK9 and this dose not fit the EG/DC platfrom.

its illegal to replace an air bagged wheel with a non-air bagged wheel.

im not quite sure you understood what i meant.
-remove the allen keys bolts off from the horn button surrounding
-remove the cover the allen keys bolts were holding in place
-carefully remove the "H" horn button (its only being held in place by 3 plastic clips)
-you will find a spring and a copper button in here.
-the order of this should be... spring first then the copper button with the "nipple" of the button facing the engine bay

That's exactly what I've done. But still nothing? There's only 2 cables right? I've got those 2 plugged into the plate like your picture but are there anymore? How does the horn connect to the car without an extra cable? I think I'm missing that 1

have you connected the battery back up?
have you removed the horn at anytime?
check to make sure you have voltage at one of the 2 wires, check from one cable to a good ground (this should have 12V) and check the other for continuity (basically ground to ground)

    Battery's connected.
I used to have an srs wheel which had cables connecting to the horn, but had to take that out to fit in this wheel.. Could that be the problem?

you need the copper shoe horn. It connects to the car and touched the metal part on the back of the steering wheel. As you used to have an srs wheel you're goingt o have to get it from honda, or from the wreckers or just make it with some metal laying around. Its easy.

Heres a picture of the part:

and a diy to go with:

    don't thank me. Thank google.

I suggest the audm dc2r wheel. its got the airbag and is only a little bigger then then the one you've got now. I've run both, and they're both good.
