    Oil around distributor?

    hey all i have an oil leak around the distributor on my 94 accord vtis, does anyone know what gasket this is and is it much work to change?

    The dizzy has an O ring seal on the end of it. Easy to replace. remove 3 dizzy mounting bolts and pull dizzy out (dont have to remove leads ect) then replace the O ring. Clean dizzy hole out, give the new O ring a little smear of lube and chuck it back in.
    If the leak is coming from dizzy cap itself its internal (leaking past dizzy bearing) thats a bigger fix. But try the O ring first..

    thanks heaps for the help guys, if the leak is bad enough would it make oil leak down the rear of the block?

    not impossible. Could be a bigger problem there mate.

    have u had your 200,000km service. e.g. timing belt, water pump?
    Gas up the Vtec for you tonight and baby you can go wherever you like.....

    major service was done 20,000 km ago, im not sure if there is oil inside i will check
