[CL9] Hood Trim "Blackout" and pics - COLOURMATCH P.4

After blacking out my chrome window surrounds with some black plastic stuff from a sign shop, I decided to apply the same stuff to the hood trim in an attempt to de-chrome even further. I kinda can't justify ordering the proper stuff from the states, or even painting the damn thing to colour match, due to my financial situation (I'm a uni student!)

Now I'm not sure whether the chrome or the black looks 'better' on the car (which is arctic blue), and so i can't decide whether to leave it black or go back to chrome..

From looking at the pics again, I'm kinda thinking the black looks a little out of place. Any opinions?

    Cheers

    blue > chrome > black.

    Is it easy to remove?

I think it'd be like peeling a sticker....i tinted mine with tint film (graphite euro). That way it still looked 'stock' but a lot darker...and hence blend it better with my car.

Dude stick with the chrome. Dont ruin the car. If u really have ur heart set on getting rid of the chrome just wait a while and save up to spray it blue.
    Just my 2c

Oh and by the way, you are too close to the gutter, i could never do that with my rims lolololol

This is mine. See how in the sun it looks like body colour. But in the shade, it has a bit more of a darker black tint to it. But you can see the difference from the chrome. (compare to teh window trim). and no, my car doesnt look like that. its pure stock + body kit. haha. wheels = exy.
