there should be a number/code inprinted onto the turbo
supplying that would be helpful as to figuring what turbo it is.

Nissian use garret turbos, goto the garrett and try matching it, but judging from the small front & the small rear housing, with a different rear exhaust outlet, i can tell you it is not a T25. It is for sure smaller than the T25. Pretty sure i saw one of these before and they were a T20/T18.
Most likely this came out of a Nissian EXA

Are you sure its a BB turbo? i have a spare t25 sitting at home and it looks much like that sept this turbo doesnt have an actuator which the t25 does But i think this turbo did originally come with a actuator cos you can see the connector arm hanging out at the bottom of flange on the exhaust side to the internal waste gate in the last picture.

There wasnt many stock garret BB turbo's that nissan used. s15 is the t28bb which this deff isnt.

Yea VERY sure its bb, i didnt realise at first and i was told the BB hav dual intake fins, 6 bolts on the exhaust side, and oil & water cooled, all which this turbo has.

It also doesnt have a hole in the exhaust housing from where the actuator arm goes thro, its the kind where the actuator arm goes thro the dump pipe if you know what i mean. i cant find a pic...
