Hey mate i suggest you search as there has been lots written about this. I ended up using a 3/4 rattle gun to get mine off when i was having trouble.

Some say putting it in gear and using a breaker bar works...

Some people even suggest to use a breaker bar and wedge it on the ground then start your engine - NOT something i would do!

i think the engine spins the wrong way to do that with our engines. not 100% sure though.

Put the car in gear and get someone to jump on the brakes if neccessary.

    Breaker bar and hammer

Theres this chain tool, which is what I used to hold the pulley and I used a breaker bar to take it off

If the car is in driveable condition, I suggest you drive past a workshop and ask them if they can undo it with a 3/4 rattle gun, if need be do it up again yourself, it will be easier to undo when you get home. The local workshop near me took no time at all to crack it.

you can get a fabricated lock tool made up, not sure about pricing but my old work place had one done cos apparently Honda does not sell the tool to the public.. imo it'll be cheaper than buying an air compressor and a rattle gun
    Why hello there
