We have managed to get things in gear for the photochop comp (after much request!) and also got a prize thanks to Trav (egsi) and Underground Imports.
The details of the competition including the rules, submission requirements and prizes are as follows:
General Rules
1. Any type of image enhancement is allowed. Ie Digital or otherwise
2. Submitted images must contain a component of the original image.
3. Images will be judged based on originality/creativeness.
4. The assumed owner of the image will be the username the image is uploaded under.
Submission / voting
1. All images are to be uploaded to the Photochop Comp #1 section in the Ozhonda gallery
2. There is no limit on the number of images submitted per user, however once your gallery quota is reached, that's it!
3. Once the closing date is reached, moderators/admins will select the best 10 images and a voting/poll thread will be setup.
4. The image with the most votes by the closing date/time for voting will win the competition.
Closing dates
Submissions: Midnight 2 November 2004 (Tuesday)
Voting: 1 week from when the final 10 entries are announced/posted in a thread.
Prize
1. Underground Imports will either provide a prize to the value of $50 or give $50 off the price of any other item purchased from Underground Imports.
2. The prize is not redeemable for cash.
3. Underground Imports reserves the right to change the nature of the prize as it sees fit.
1st prize - A $50 voucher from Underground Imports
2nd prize - Ozhonda Supporter status (IE larger PM box, Attachments, Larger gallery quota and custom user title).
3rd Prize - An Ozhonda Sticker and custom user title.
So the picture you need to modify is the following:
A higher res version (800x600) is also available in the Gallery under the Photchop comp section.
So start chopping and we will get back to you on the closing date for the competition.
