2006 Civic AUX Plug?

HUGE NOOB QUESTION,

Ive just got an Ipod touch and was wondering whether the 06 Sport Civic has an AUX input plug? If so, where is it?

Leads me to believe there is considering the Head Unit says aux.

Uhm, i dunno if its like this in vti and vti-l, but in my sports its right under the cigarette lighter. theres an aux input right there.. just flick open the lid. =]

below the cigarrete lighter/power socket thing. It has a flip down latch that covers the aux input.

Well, maybe i was jipped an Aux Plug. or possible just not one on the 2006 model. Should probable just get out the manual :]

Ah i sorta recall something about the earlier 06 models not having it ... you should be able to install a ipod connection to the rear of the head unit.. but you'd have to take the dash off and know what connector/pins to use... can be bought/installed at ur local stealership.

only from 07 onwards i believe there is an AUX plug

just a word of warning, choose carefully with those fm transmitter things from ebay, esp ones that claim can charge your ipod as well. I've fried the mobo of a 5g ipod vid and a gen 1 nano because of that.

2006 civic missed out on Aux jack and 17" alloys, they were then included in the 2007 model.

ive ordered in an Ipod deluxe kit (includ charger, AUX connection, Ipod holder).. hopefully comin in this weekend
