    Especially considering that a couple of months ago you would have been able to get them from the US for less than $200 a tyre for that size.

    beeza, been told the T1R is almost on par with the RE001, on dry but the RE001 is better in wet. The RE001 is slightly better than the T1s in both wet & Dry.

    I've never tried the T1S or Rs before so cannot comment.

    I don't seem to go through alot of tyres to be able to try new ones, even for last years season and track days, just 1 set for the whole year...Maybe I'm not driving hard enough..LOL...

    Indeed it is esp when it's now superceded by the much better RE11.

    What tyre pressures do you guys run for the re001 ?

    Ive just realized i should be running around 34psi for maximum grip on my re001 195/50/15 tyres. I haven't tried 32 psi but, will soon though

    On the circuit? 40psi. otherwise 36psi for the street. Cold.
