    New ride - 08 CBR600RR

    Ey fellas,

Haven't been posting here since my DC5R blew up two years ago. Picked up a new toy for myself about a month ago, but I've been overseas/Gold Coast for a month so haven't had a chance to ride it till now.

Came with a CF Yoshi Exhaust, but since then I've put some ricer bits on it, tinted windscreen, red rim tape, HIDs, and the ResArt fender eliminator, Honda Racing Rear Seat Cowl , CF heat shield & heel gaurds.

Next mods: G-Craft Racing Style Rear Brake Oil Reservoir, Pazzo Levers.

    Checks it:

Will be seeing you guys around on the forums!

    Peace!

That's so true dude! Makes us look like full MotoGP racers! Just hope chicken strips don't develop now that I've taken possession of the bike. The previous owner woulda loved to lean. No chicken strips @ all.

ahh the dreaded chicken strips lol..

but in all honesty, I dont push my limits in order to get rid of every last bit of unworn tire because the road surfaces are pretty poor and all it takes is a bit of sand/gravel with some heavy lean and down she goes.

That's a good question, one that I was hoping to pass on to you guys. I'm not too sure! All the ebay ones seem expensive and/or crap.

Bought it off a bloke in Torquay for $11,500 incl exhaust. Only had 1,300kms! Best thing about it was, the rego was expired on the day I picked up the bike, and rego in Torquay is $350 or so, whereas in Melbourne it's $550 because it's urban. So I paid the rego, saved $200 on that instantly, and transfered the title later that day @ Vicroads. Had to pay stamp duty, forgot how much it was now, $200 something I think.
