    93 prelude si- continuous click noise

    hey guys, c if u can help......

    my friends got a lude but she complains about this clicking noise in between gears? do u know what it is?

    i thought it would be bushes, she reckons gearbox, the clicking is continous and she is getting sick of it.........c if ne1 can solve this problem or provide ideas? tks

    Manual or auto - what size engine
    Could *maybe* be driveshafts, but I will guess and say it is an auto, and it has done 175,000+ kms and needs a rebuild if you want the noise to go - eventually box will die over 200,000kms

    most times clicking is caused by worn cv joints (driveshafts) ... get em checked

    what do you mean in between gears. are you saying when she puts her foot on the clutch to change gears. or after the gear is selected and clutch released ?

    if the noise is between changin gears it usually is the slave cylinder going or the clutch plate
    --------------------------------------

    NA all the way, turbos are ghey.

    yeh im not entirely sure on exact details but i will ask her.....i did ask her to get checked out at mechanics.....
