    hp gain from headers and exhaust

    guys,

    what am i expected to gain from my b16b after putting a x force 4-2-1 and itr system with high flow cat and adjusting my cam gears..before those mods it was pulling 97.8kW atw tuned with jdm itr ecu and piggy back blue emanage and top fuel air intake, stock exhaust...

    should be pretty stable I'd imagine, that's a realitively nice number.


    Plus dynos are a guide, creating the same situation twice or three times is near impossible, too many variables.

    expect to gain around 10kw and not much more.

    Supposedly 4-2-1 is better for midrange, whereas a 4-1 will give you top end. So expect midrange gains instead of a higher max kw value.

    now that i've got the x force headers and itr catback on, i think my vtec is kicking in too late 6K to 6.2K is this normal..im sure when i had the stock it was 5.8k..

    same as mine mate.got xforce headers and catback on my em1 and the vtec kicks in abit later.i guess its normal?

    guys why is my vtec is kicking in at 6.1k??

    any inputs..
