    sure its 2.2L bud?

    audm s2000 never came out with the 2.2L version.
    especially an 04 model.
    the 2.2L was only introduced on the 05+ models for the usdm and some jdm spec cars.

    Look on your rego paper and look at the engine number registered to it.
    is it f20cxxxxx or f22cxxxxxx.

    if you got yourself the f22c then good on ya =]
    more torque less revs.

    any way.

    let me be the first.
    welcome =]

    i dont think aust ever got the 2.2L model. so double check that you're not getting an import. 71k is okay, they're quite tough engines so as long as they are maintained well, it shlould be fine.

    cr isnt a 2004 model?? and 35 for a 01 model with 50k is a bit steep if you bought it just recently...

    04model has the upgraded features and facelift. good buy

    Either way $39k for an "AP2" is a good buy.
