    Could anyone tell me what this actuator is from?.

    I orderd a part for my EK civic sedan but got this in the mail :S. not from my model thats for sure






    This is what i pulled from my door was screwed on the oposite way to that one :s.



    not being a smart ass... but is that what vtec feels like? turning the aircon off?

    have you tried to install the entire lock mechanism

    I have not tryed to fit it, i had a glance but it dosnt look like my rods will suit that setup.

    OK.

    have you considered mounting a non genuine actuator to the Rod,

    All you have to do is mount the actuator ( properly ) and then cut off the connector from the old actuator and fit it to the new aftermarket Actuator.

    works a charm. the fun part is finding the right wires, but thats not that hard to do.
