Installing Baby Seat - Civic EG Hatch

hey everyone,

i have bought a spare car seat and have decided to install our first seat into my car.

i am not the best at this, but i had a quick look in my car and cant find any anchor points.

does anyone know or have a baby seat installed in their EG?

i could not find anything on the net but im sure someone out there will know what i am talking about.


any help will be appreciated...

i don't think the EG has one... similar to the older tegs....

just go to your local ambulance or fire station base they will help you fit it properly

i know they do up here in qld

maybe give them a ring and ask first incase they don't in your state

They should have one, isn't it an Australian standard. (maybe NSW)

I have a mate that imported a series 6 RX7 from JDM land and he had to get the anchor points installed prior to rego.

i was pretty sure it is aust. standard to have anchor points.

hey guys,

i worked it all out.

already installed the seat myself.

the anchor point for the EG hatch is located on the boot lid.

there are holes in the interior plastic where the anchor point bolts in.
