Exclamation BYP Civic @ Wakefield nudges the 1.07's

Just want to share an great achievement with the car yesterday testing day down at Wakefield Park.

Since the install of the new engine package (b20vtec) and some changes to the car chasis component (no roll cage) the car needed some adjustment to fine tune it to suit the track.

Overall, it was a very good day, with only 10cars yesterday and heaps of track time, we were able to try a few different things. Along the way, there were a few hiccups but we'll keep that to ourselves. No need to make excuses.

At the end of the day, the car clocked a new pb of 1:07.7 with consistent low to flat 1:08's towards the end of the day. All recorded on an XT racing lap timer

With this result, it shows that a simple engine and chasis set-up can net an great time. There is nothing special done to the car, just keeping it simple.

Watch out for the cars result in the upcoming Supersprint rounds. We are expecting some good lap times now with this car package.
