    civic eg drum to disk

    hi

    just wordening if anyone know

    is the arm from rear brake set up of civic eg is the same for drum and disk

    the whole arm that holding the either drum or disk

    if anyone know please let me know

    AFAIK, the trailing arm is common to DC2 integra, EK & EG civics.

    There may be some tiny differences:
    * brackets to attach different brake cables.
    * bushes in the DC2R models might be a bit more rigid

    To convert the drum trailing arm to a disk, you buy a complete hub and bolt it on in place of the drum brake hub.
    You then have to source all the brake hardware bits and bolt them on.

    It's usually cheaper and much more convenient to purchase a complete disk brake trailing arm.

    yes and make sure to change the proportioning valve aswell as specs differ from disk / drum configurations

    Hubs will be different. I had two different model EG's and the rear hubs were different on them.

    The trailing arm itself should be the same.

    LCA's are different.
