crazy tyre wear on '04 Euro??

Hi guys just new to the forum! Im looking at buying my sisters 2004 Accord Euro....I went to check it out the other day and noticed some crazy scrubbing out of the tyres. On all four tyres the inside corner is literally scrubbed away! Not just the usual uneven wearing out of the shoulders that you get from cars with neg camber (such as the Holdens with IRS) its almost down to the metal! The car has done 50,000kms mainly highway driving and there is still a fair bit of tread left. It has not been in a prang either. I was just wondering if this is a common problem with these or something that can be rectified quite easliy. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I had a 2003 euro that I put 17 inch wheels on with 225/45 tyres. It always had a problem with wear on the inside of the tyres .I had wheel alignments done every 5k but at 30,000km the tyre were bald on the inside edge.Different tyre services tried to fix the problem but nothing worked. The offset was not 55 but i can not remember what it was.

does your sister fang the car around cornering without worries?

on stock rubbers 40-50xxxkm would be pretty good.

thats considered normal, especially for FWD cars when corner the inner shoulder normally wears down first.

just go get an alignment done and replace rubbers and you should be fine.

agreed as above, normally you should rotate tyres + wheel alignment every 8-10xxx km service and it should be fine
