    in the back of the haed unit hter eis a port, its like a 2cm cube, white and shiz, just plugs in. guessing thats wat the aux button on the front was meant to do.

    yes, but from memory, there's 4 pins, you gotta noe which one to plug into, there's 3 active and 1 inactive. the three are (-ve, +ve right, + left) i forgot the order. When this is plugged in, the head unit will automatically detect the port and you can then switch between cd and aux. yay

    yea this is exactly what i am tlking about. this way you have a cable dangling around, i went with this option, it looks neat and just remove the aux cable when u need to:

    clean looks man, u see the screw around the outside of the plug, that acts as a retainer which holds the plug onto the plate. it came with the plug - just drill a perfect fit hole and screw it on, take 2 mins.
