    Question [CL9] Noob upgrade questions

Hi guys, I'm just wondering what upgrades can be made to my 03 Euro lux and exactly what they'll do. Also the cost from cheapest to most expensive and whether the cheaper options are worth bothering with. Anything you guys can advise would be appreciated

Lol yeah I thought it might be, I'm talking basic upgrades to deliver increased performance. Low cost is better.

Most people do intake first. I did rear swaybar first and it is such a huge increase over the stock handling.

But you can't use a term like 'performance' lightly, a car can perform well braking, accelerating, cornering etc. Pick which one you want the most and start working towards it!

Good point, I'd be looking at handling or accerleration. Wanna shed some more light on the intake and swaybars. Cheers

Yeah thanks, I had a look and the swaybars are all making sense. But I'll be honest the intake/header/extractor terminology is all confusing me. Can anyone recommend a thread or website that explains it all <==== Novice alert!

Intake = The pipe from the air filter to the throttle body
Header = The manifold from the exhaust ports of the head to underneath the car
Exhaust = The piping after the cat that runs to the back bumper

Can't explain them in any simpler terms, lol

This is what i suggest.RSB,springs and shocks, intake(i have Comptech, nice and quiet),headers(DC sport or Comptech).Being an auto improving the handling will make the car more fun to drive so i'd do that 1st.Then intake and headers to round it off if you have the $$$$.

there is nothing cheap in doing up cars, but cheapest would be a swaybar for performance or euro R or red H badges.
