Front Windscreen Seal PRob ~

The 95 prelude i am looking at currently has a poorly sealed windscreen as it has been changed.. its not too seriously however there is a obvious gap there///

just would like to know :
how much is it to reseal the front windscreen approx and what are the consequences if left alone? ( he said its no major problem if the seal isnt sealed properly .. *shrugs* =| )

the guy said it cant be just resealed and a new windscreen needs to be fitted.. but i duno if that is true.... ??

has anyone experienced a similar problem here??

they tend to break the windsceen removing it. so they like to cover there butts by saying they need to replace it just incase. windscreens are so tuff front on but you wouldnt belive just how week they are if you nick em from the side. CRACK down the screen,
