    need help on my ef problem

    hey guys as most of you own civics. i have a civic ef the old square box version 90 model lol. although i have a slight problem ! my car will start with a battery pack and i will drive it for abit and then it wont start again, the battery has voltage still could this be possible for it to be the starter motor? please let me know if you guys have had this same problem and how much it was to fix and where i can get parts from etc. thanks

    it could be the main relay.

    i had a similar problem with my crx before.

    take it to a kmart centre. They do a free battery test and will tell you if its the batter or alternator.

    I've never had a relay prob, but this could be specific to ur car

    ok now with this main relay problem, who can fix it? auto electrician whats it gonna cost me i just wanna fix it and sell it

    Why dont you buy a manual for your car and have a go yourself? "IF" it is the relay or alternator you should be able to replace them both yoursef if you have a few basic tools. I say do what Limbo said and get it checked for free, then try your luck at the wreckers for the part you need.

    took it to an auto electrician today hes gonna check tomorrow for the problem once i find out the problem ill fix it my self
