anywayz just goin by testing pace (not just quali runs but long runs too) n from what other drivers/teams r sayin about brawn gp... they'll be walking away with the victory come melb...

CF will be struggling... i predict him losing his front wing from breaking too late into the first corner...

I agree, Max AND Bernie need to step down... (Though we know we wont see Bernie gone for a long time yet...)

    Points suck, I agree...

I don't agree that BrawnGP will be walking away though... I still think it's a stunt to get sponsers...

its a possibility... although i doubt it

they're not just puttin in a flying lap on fumes...their long stint pace is roughly .5 to 1 sec faster than the other teams...

also gota rememba its Ross Brawn... hes a no nonsense type of guy.. n it would make no sense for them 2 remove ballast for the tests (assuming thats what they're doing) as that would interfere with setup data...

plus this year they're being bankrolled by Honda and to a certain extent bernie (advanced payment of tv revenus)... n Ross has been quoted as wanting to find a long term sponsor.. not a short term one wanting to get cheap exposure thru topping testing times...

heres an article taken from f1live.com
    http://en.f1-live.com/f1/en/headline...16140253.shtml
Ross Brawn has plainly rejected speculation his Brackley-based team is artificially topping the test timesheets.

Ever since the BGP 001 recently made its debut, it has stunned the F1 world with its pace, raising suggestions the speed is being achieved with low levels of fuel. Another suggestion is that the Mercedes-powered car may also be running beneath the official minimum weight of 605kg plus driver, in a desperate bid to attract sponsors following Honda's withdrawal.

But team owner and boss Brawn told Auto Motor und Sport: "I am looking for long time partners, not sponsors who want to buy a cheap spot because of fast lap times."

Even F1's cynics are coming around to the realisation that the car is genuinely quick no matter the configuration, with the exclusion of underpowered Honda engines another factor at play.

"Just the driveability of the engine is a dream," Rubens Barrichello, referring to Brawn's customer deal with Mercedes-Benz, said. "Finally, when I accelerate, I have the feeling of knowing what to expect.”

"The power is wonderfully manageable and predictable," he added.

Wtf... I have just read about the rule changes... This is a f*cking joke... I've followed F1 since 2003 and have seen season reviews since 1975 and this one of the most boneheaded moves by Bernie and the FIA... ffs...
Petronas, you tried this one ? http://www.itv-f1.com/Home.aspx
    that's my daily dose.

Like i said b4 they should get rid of the pts for the first 8 placings. That rule was introduced because of schumacher winning the championship with still half the season to go.

CF's got a pussy cat doll....wonder how he managed that!!

Didn't read all the fine prints, but i cant see how $30mil is going to be enough, especially for staff n drivers. i mean, alonso would be pretty close to that mark already per season.
I read somewhere that toyota spend around 300-400mil a year.

Also back in 98 or 99, there was a 5 week gap between the second last race and last race. Championship to be decided between schumacher and hakkinen, the two teams reported spend around $50mil each on developement for that race.
It all went down the drain for ferrari when schumacher stalled it on the grid from the front row and was moved all the way to the back.
