    Shocks!

Hunting around for shocks for my ED...
Im gonna get Kmac springs and I want new shocks to sit them bad boys on.
I don't trust my ED's current shocks (I think they're the original ones from 19 years ago!)

Can anyone recommend some good shocks at a good price and localised in Sydney?

Ive been on the net, but there isn't really much information on stores in Australia. The only websites with prices and info are based in the US, I might just get a set imported, depending on competitive prices over here.

    Help please

Bilstein are around but only in specialty shops... in Melbourne anyway, Sydney I'm sure is the same.

You won't find either at K-Mart...

I do agree, Bilstein or Koni and forget the rest.

Well "good price" is open to interpretation, it doesn't necessarily mean 'cheap'...

When I was pricing dampers (set of 4) some while ago (about a year and a half or so) I was quoted near $1400 for stock Honda, about $700 (or might have been $750?) for non adjustable KYB (described as a 'stock replacement). I got the Konis for $850 (through the Auto-One franchise in Taree).

well a set of shitty kyb's are around $300-400 AUD, and theres some Bilstein shocks which you have to buy indiviually which work out to be around $450-500, for the lot.

If you can purchase a set of new Bilsteins for that price then it's an unbelievably good deal. Grab it before they realise their mistake...
