as claymore suggest i think it's a resurrect GD1 by a GD3 as i've seen some similar example in auto auction. but as long as the car drive good dun bother la.

It is not perfectly clear in your photo but it looks like your car has the GD1 front roof mounted radio antenna.

It seems that the red dot and radio antenna are the only items left from the original GD1 spec. Everthing else seems to be MY06 Vti-s GD3.

Is the previous owners name in the service manual?

x2 i second that as well...

could you take a picture of the engine bay? take a look at the compliance plate and check if its from thailand or japan.... ( coz they both use different air intake boxes so another discussion point there)

That front came out with the first update in the MY05 which was built in Japan. The thing that gives it away as a second update MY06 (Thai built) is the mirror mounted indicators. The radio aerial mounted at the front of the roof was a spec of the MY05 Vti-s but was carried over to the MY06 Gli. The MY06 Vti & Vti-s had the radio aerial mounted on the back of the roof.

Also I don't think that colour came out in the MY05.

This is one mixed up car.

Come to think of it, if that was originally a GD1 (Gli) then there would have been holes in the front guards where the orange indicators have been removed.
