    wheel bearing?

    Hi oz-h,

I just recently meet my new miss' and also have inherited her car problems. Her rear wheel bearings are humming their tone. i been reading up about replacing them myself, just was interest to know if there was a cheaper way in changing the wheel bearing without taking and replacing the whole hub.

if honda can put the wheel bearing in, we can some how take them out.

    Are there aftermarket parts?

    thank you

For the rear you only need to replace the wheel bearings, and can still keep the old hub.

You just need a press, to press out the old, then press in the new.

$230 is the price per hub+wheel bearing. honda does not sell the rear wheel bearing by itself. it comes packaged as wheel bearing and hub combination.

Take it to a dealer as Jazz rear wheel bearings have an extended warranty

I haven't driven a Honda in years. :/ Does my honda lawn mower and whipper snipper count?
