Skunk2 lowering Springs fitted to Type-S ***(PICS INSIDE)***

Ran into a set of 2.5" lowering springs for DC5 for fairly cheap, Cant afford coil overs at the moment so thought this would be a bandaid solution untill I start getting some cash flow happeneing again, Here are the pics!

If you stand for nothing, you will fall for anything.

I dont think the car would be illegaly low as its sitting pretty nice at the moment & i plan and putting a set of 18's on it soon so it should bumb it up another inch or so.

Yeah using springs will more than likely fuc up the shocks over time as theres more stress on them, i only plan on having these springs on temporarily while i save up to get some coils! i suppose if you want to lower the car get a better aftermarket set of shocks or get some coils.

Nice Tony, i will be getting the SKUNK2 springs aswel.

Hows the ride now? and i think if its still got a 100mm gap between the ground and the side skirts its legal... or something along those lines.

(p.s, do i see some hectic camber on the rear :P)

The lowest point of the car has to be above 10cm from the ground. So exhaust... under panels... skirts... front lip etc etc.

HAhaha, Nah no camber on the rear yet, waiting for some decent rims!

The ride is actually surpisingly pretty comfy, Untill you go over a bump, it asif the shocks have lost their travel or something, and the car is pretty bouncy, me and my mate had a marathon bounce session in the car along canterbury road last night! we drove over a bumpy section of the road at about 130k's and the car almost got airborn!
