you ned to remove the shock out of the mounting...THEN remove the springs.

there has to be a way the shock is removed - check the top for 2-5 locking nuts ontop.

yeap done them on the top under the hood , there all undone finger tight , but it looks as if the bottom of the shock is catching grip on the "lower control" arm or something

the bottom bolt has been taken out completely now

    im stressing to much sigh

You have to get someone to help you push the hub down, while you remove the shock from the car.

but make sure the springs still captured...

sounds like he's undone the blots to remove the spring.. dont want to push down on the hub, release the shock and a spring comes flying off

i want to put it back together i give up , its only a bogan mobile why bother

now the top of the shock thread , i kinda stripped it , hit it with a hammer on the top , now the bolt wont come of and its under the top "bump" stop

and the bottom shock bolt hole wont line up

all ive undone is the top bolts and the 1 bottom bolt ,

    any advice would be appreciated

dude, its a really simple procedure. logic, look at what bolts need to be undone.

or if i were you, call a mobile mechanic. get them to put it back together and then u can pay someone to complete the job for you.

Go into the DIY sub forum, look for a spring shock thread made my me. I.e. search by user.

Also, i would advise against using any sorts of hammers.

Just jostle the shock around , look at where it may be stuck and then move it aorund so it becomes unstuck. it should pop back into place.
