This is the most annoying and highly visible illegal mod you can do.

I'm assuming you're talking about the blobes itself?

HID's are annoying to on coming drivers. To reduce the glare you need to re-adjust the headlights.

They are quite fiddly to fit with metres of wires but straight forward.

Alternatively you can get the MTEC 4750K or NARVA 5000K replacment globes. This will give you a whitish kind of look similar to HID!

Sorry to hijack thread, Does anyone know how to aim the globes on the DC5R? I would like to lower mine a little on the right side.

Most outlets sell those types of globes? or Honda specific dealers/places?

two screws on the back of each headlight, one for left/right, one for up/down

    dont forget trusty ebay...
but be warned some of the kits are not 100%
also dont forget to adjust your headlights.

dont be temped to get the 50w kits either as the 35W kits are ample and you dont need the extra startup strain on your existing wiring.
for an idea of colour 4300, standard Hid globe (fitted to beemers) 6000 more blue, 9000 becoming purple. the 4300s give the best light dispersion then the other colours. (throws the light better.)
