Car wont start

Hi Guys,

Here's the problem, one morning started the car up was about to head to work than the car just stalled on me. Tried starting the car up again a few times, it makes the starting up noise but the engine just wont fired up.

Things I've change thought it was the problem"
- Spark plugs
- Dizzy

Could it be any thing else?

Cars info:
ED 89 Civic
D15 - twin carby

yes that happened to my car as well started the car then it stalls then wont start again it onli cranks but wont fire up, changed the main relay then that fixed my problem

well that was for my integra vtir

just to add to this thread, add a few of my suggestions for OP's problem, and hopefully spurn a few new ideas for mine...

I'm having a similar problem with my ED CRX... it died on me on the highway while just cruising along and when i attempt to start, it turns over no worries, but won't start... just backfires every now and then.

Car has a fully built D16 turbo setup.

i've checked:
main relay (reccomend OP re-solders his rather than replace with another old item)
spark plugs/leads
camgears and shafts (all tight, no damage)
timing belt is fairly new, still seated well. can't really tell whether it's skipped a tooth
fuel rail is getting pressure in and out, so no blockage or problem with priming

dizzy (yet to swap on mine, next step on my list)

help!
