    i personally have a R6.
honestly it is one of the most beautiful bike out there isnt it
it has a higher seat height. and YES, it is the fastest bike in the range.
but, it just loved to be revved high, im talking about over 10k rpm, the low range power is nothing, so, street use, you might need to rev it abit harder (louder)

If budget allows, why not consider getting a late model 1000cc...

Like, the 09 Fireblade is only 20 something kgs heavier than the CBR600RR... so besides $$... why not? Lolz.

I'm looking to snap up a 2nd hand 09 Fireblade (eCabs) w/in the next 12 months.

R6 is the slowest, CBR600RR is the best all round, The new ZX6 is the most powerful.

thanks for all the posts guys responses are very helpful , im leanin towards the r6. but im still going to look into the kawasaki range although i no there dirtbikes arent exactly known for there reliability not sure bout the sportsbikes though personaly never owned a kawasaki.

why no buy a 1000? well as much fun as the ridiculous power can be , its abit to hardcore for my liking to ride in stop - start traffic. im also a small guy (65 odd kg)so i find them abit bulky to moove around , just feel alot more comfortable on the r6 over the r1. 600 is still plenty of power to get the front wheel up

As I said b4, the late model fireblades are only 20 somethign KGs heavier than CBR600RR, and practically the same size...

C'mon, you can have the king of the street b/w ur legs! Must b a cool feelin' =)

Who cares what is most powerful, slowest top speed... etc etc...

Last year the R6 won best track bike on MCN 08 600cc shootout (including 675 triple). So dont knock the R6's performance.

Both Yamaha & Honda are making some awesome 600 & 1000's at the moment... I love the styling of the new Yamahas and from what ive been hearing, fireblade finally has a serious contender to knock it off its years of 1000cc BOTY dominance...

id go the r6.. good looks and feels better then the cbr to ride.. my gf has the 07 cbr 600 and its comfy to ride but my 06 r6 feels like an agressive bike and once the power band comes in it goes... while the cbr is kinda like a constant feel...
