OBD1 Mugen ECU into OBD2 car

OK ive just encountered this little dilemma. As the title suggests, I have acquired a Mugen Race use ECU which is OBD1 and I have a Civic with OBD2 harness and everything.
This is because i have a new engine. A JDM Type R B18 with lots of fruit.

Will i need a new wiring harness ?
Will this new ECU screw up my accessories ?

Myself and the installer are a little nerveous about the installation..

well ive just held the two ECu's together and both plug ends are identical.
so is that saying they're both OBD2 ?

take a photo and we can tell you for sure, but yes if there identicle they should plug straight in. OBDII ECu has four connectors, only 3 are used and their are 3 rows of pins
