when i turn on my lights.. the driver side HID blinks for about 5 seconds and stays off.. i've turned it on and off like 10 times and the problem keeps reoccuring.. i dont think the bulb is busted cause its still blinking.. i checked all the wires and they're still intacted.. any ideas?

Actually there is a high chance of the bulb, it seems the bulb is start to dying.

Cause this happen to me, first, the bulb will need switch 2 times to get it on, and later, the bulb just on for few second. Take the bulb out, the middle of the hid tube, where there is a little ball, if it turning into black, the bulb is start to dying.

If you want to test is it the bulb or the ballast, just switch around, use the bulb on the other ballast, than you will know what cause it.

with my first set i had similar problem. it was the ballast.
but of course if its not the ballast it would be the bulb.
change bulb, get new ballast, or a new set all together.

Im going back as of 5pm this arvo, lol

got bulbs on hold at the shop near work ready for pickup

made by phillips, absolute garbage, I reckon they have under rated something in the drivers ballast, something Im not going to look at as its a waste of time/more money
