    Dull carbon fibre

My Carbon bonnet is looking really dull and has no gloss at all (probably due to age and weather damage). Is there anyway of making it re-glossed again? I've tried clay bar'ing it and waxing but yeah didn't turn out much better.

    cheers.

If the clear coat is still there then you need to wetsand it with fine sandpaper, 1200 grit and finish off with 2000 grit, then get a cut and polish.

Otherwise just reapply the clear coat after sanding it down.

The gloss on wet CF comes from the resin, which has a polished finish. You may need to sand it real fine, then reapply some sort of clear-coat resin. Try and find something with a polyester base rather than epoxy- a bit easier to use. You'll probably need to thin it something fierce too
    I wish I had a car...
