Another customer sucked in by a salesman. Hopefully he will learn from his expensive mistake. At least the salesman got a little bonus in his pay packet....lol
Very little Tony, it's just a quick wax job, so bird shit, bat shit, industrial fall out, etc are excluded (in the fine print). What does it cover - sweet FA
ok guys, i noe i posted that i bought the K&N air filter for the CU2 like a month ago. but ive been super busy and lazy to even pop the hood (or wash the car for that matter) and install the damn thing
after i finished uni today, since ive left it in my boot for the whole time, i decided to install it and test it before i get my service soon.
ok the trip back home was peak hour, so tons of start stop traffic at all sorts of hilly inclines. there were plenty of long stretches of traffic free road as well. then when i got to my house i drove around the block a bit. fortunately for me, the block my house sits on is on the side of a hill. at the top of the hill is a long flat road. there are two REALLY steep inclines leading to the bottom of the hill where my house is. so i drove up and down the hill from standstill. and tested it on the flat road too.
conclusion?
THIS THING IS THE F**ING BOMB YO! XD
i noe its just an air filter. but just physically, its only half the thickness of the OEM ones. The quality is amazing and as u know its reuseable.
I didnt expect to notice anything different, but there was noticeable more engine growl and THROTTLE RESPONSE IS AMAZING! I even tested it with the aircon on, which usually sucks half the power away, and yep its alot better. My cu2 revs so much better now.
id rather just get the injen since its designed specifically for the euro
btw last night after 24kms of driving with light friday night traffic, highway, start stop and hilly roads. averaged about 8L /100km
previously, 10.5L/100km normal day to day driving
with the air filter and maniacal driving and acceleration touretts, i get about 12L/100km. i swear having the air filter uses more fuel, prolly cause it revs harder
but today, carrying on from last night, total of about 74kms driven. averaged 9L/100km fuel consumption. using ultra fuel conservative driving style. no hard revving or accelerating. not that bad except id go crazy being on edge driving like that everyday.
Lol injen is a us company. Their cu2's cai is deaigned for tsx. Since there is no diff between tsx n cu2, dats why cu2 can use it. Same as this k&n SRI.
btw i am so sad
my dad close the garage door on my car
luckily it hit my wing spoiler and i braked quickly
shaved off a thin layer off the top of my spoiler
u can see scratches and that the paint is duller.
the scratches are white, and not that deep (because the door had a rubber lining but some metal bits)
sigh so depressed. at least i have an excuse to get a mugen wing now lol
