Whoah the boulevarde! I was up there nearly every weekend when I first started riding on the road - in the early nineties! I went up there a few months ago but there were only about two bikes up there at that top corner (where the view of the city is).

sure is good place for riding. a bit too short riding...and the rd isnt perfect if u start goin fast.

Back in the olden days there was no bike lanes, no centre strip, no roundabout near the bridge and the tarmac was in good condition. The bikes would gather near the entrance to Willsmere just on the other side of the bridge or up at that top corner. On good days there was dozens of motorbikes there and virtually any pushbikes. Good times!

I was up there in the S2k last night.. Forgot how much fun that road is.. but yeah the bicycle lanes lanes have wrecked it.. The black Spur is my favorite on the bike but too much traffic on the weekends..
