Suburu's hold 6 or 7 litre's of oil, that's why they need it.Heaps of carbon and gunk to clean out.

Its awesome stuff, Just bout a can today for my Impreza RS..
Goes everywhere air and fuel goes

And try researching before you make statments like that.
Subarus only hold 4L non turbo and 4.5 turbo..Well the GDA series anywho.
I been told the reason the engines require this cleaner is because: Boxer motors can suffer from bad blow by and oil pooling around the valve inlets.
Think its just because of the orientation of the engine.

Yeah,it's cause the engine sits on the side,so the oil sits everywhere which causes gunk build up i.e. Carbon, unlike a normal engine where the bulk of the oil falls down to the sump and therefore takes longer to build up the carbon.

I thought they held 6-7 litre's.Damn, sounds like I might not have done my research properly.

    Thanks for the tip.

and um yeah alot of blowback when you up the boost or just thrash it in genral. so much blowback infact you will find oil in the intercooler.

my one got sucked into my throttle body on my dc2r. I used a long thin stick of some sort and attached double sided tape at the end. I only did this because the plastic tube was visible when i opened up the throttle.

    Well,I done it! lol

That sucker got sucked in on my neighbours camry when I was Suburu UEC it.

I spent 6 hrs trying to get the IM of only to learn U have to remove the engine for that.FUN FUN FUN.

If it was my car I would have just revved it through but being the neighbours it was a different story.

In the end that's what we did anyways and all good!

I broke one of the O-ring seals on the injector in the process,I didn't know that but.4 days later he came over and was like my car smells like petrol...

    It was an easy find/fix.

Man,it's scary working on friends cars...
