    how to wrap headers?

    just wondering my tape didnt come with instructions i read its 1/4 inch overlap but thats about it. cant find info anywhere

    1) clean the headers with metho or something to get the oil off them.
    2) generally i sprayed mine with Engine enamel to keep them from rusting
    3) blow torched (or set them to dry in the sun for a couple of days) the headers to make sure it was all dry and cured
    4) wrapped them as neatly as possible 1/4 overlap is fine, just so long as you wrap them consistantly


    Done about 5 sets all no issues at all

    i just wrapped mine on the weekend, first time i've ever done it, was a bitch of a job partly cause my headers are just hard as hell to get to as they go under each other and because i'm a noob.
    but they turned out good, though be sure to clean your headers as i didn't, when i started it up they smoked like hell scarying the shit of me though eventually went when the wrap set in.

    Any way good like with it.....just take your time
