How much psi can stock sleeves take?

Hi im curently running a 7psi on a b18c, and am wondering how
much pressure say a stock block, forged pistons, forged rods
and crank could take, the sleeves being the weakest link.

I know allot comes down to tuning, and compression. Im thinking if it's
worth commiting to a sleeved block or not, i've heard those wild rumors
    of sleeves taking from 300hp - 400hp.

Rumors are true. But you've gota ask yourself. Your spending all this money elsewhere 'strengthening', why skimp and be limited with stock sleaves? Do it and you'll never regret not doing it.

    ^^ 2nd that.
Do it right the first time so you dont have to do it a second time.

People claim all these powers with stock sleeves. Well their aim wasnt power. It was to prove the strength of stock sleeves.
If u want reliability with power. Then strengthen what ever you can.

Sleeves cost a fair bit these days, IMO you dont need sleeves unless you want well over the 600-700hp mark

How many K's on the motor? Sleeves will be a good investment but depends hwo much dosh you have to play with. If youre going to keep the car and thrash it - put in the sleeves.

You guys have no idea you spend too much time in the forum, for 1 MISTCHF CRX split his sleeves i split my sleeves Massive crack, its not boost unless your boosting 30psi and above it could be tuning and and how you drive Note: If your on revlimiter for half an hour before shifting will aventually do it, thats what happened to mine 21psi, injecters maxed out rushed tune, was on limiter at track maybe didnt get fuel and detonated, but this had 5years of punishment. Honda motors are unbeleivable your bs, ks and the SR20 has that status the Japs are doing well
