    Wont rev past 2500?

    ok guys its one problem after another with my civic.. i did the b18c swap and it reved past 2500 with the p28 ecu hooked up but not the obd2 p73, tried the unhook the battery for 30 seconds trick but that didnt work.. any other advice?


    ps, its throwing 7, 14, 1 codes

    Well look at the codes chart and see what they are and fix up the problem. Did you run the extra wires needed? I think you need to run knock and 02 wires.

    havent run the knock wire yet, will look more into it next week, can anyone supply me with a definate obd2a p73 pinnout diagram? ive seen 3 different kinds floating around

    code 1 make sure te O2 sensor is connected


    code 7, make sure the TPS is connected and not crossed with the MAP

    Code 14, you need to ensure the blue wire coming out off the dizzy goes back to OBDIIa A20

    it is possible your convertion harness is dodgey, this is very common for ebat style harnesses. Wires are either pooly joined and causing your problem or simply snapped off. check your harness

    Thankyou, sir. harness was sort of dodgey but using your diys i got them all sorted out, is now out of limp mode. only error code 41 now which is the o2 heater which is an easy fix, thanks for all the help
