    Civic carbs to fuel injection?

Hi, I have a 92 EG civic with dual carbs, I was wondering if it is possible to fit a fuel injection system from a similar model to this motor with minimal drama? Will it bolt directly onto the same head or do you need a whole different engine? I know what I will need but I'm just not so versed in these motors and what will bolt to what.

    Thanks in advance.

Make your life easier. Buy a 2nd hand engine that is registrable.
Itll take more work putting an efi head onto a carby head.

Youll need complete engine (injectors, rail, manifolds, dizzy (important) )
    Fuel lines.
    Fuel pump.
    ECU
    Wiring harness
And if i remember from the top of my head correctly.
A carby engine bay have different mounting spots as opposed to efi.
Modifications will be required to fit the efi engine.
If you noticed, all engine swap mounts are made for efi based chassis.

    Its alot of work.
Id recommend save up and do a conversion worth your while. Youd rather upgrade to a 1.8 or 2.0L efi than a 1.5or1.6 SOHC. It wont be much of a difference. If you want the most out of your carby. Get custom made quad carby setup. Same as a individual throttle body setup.
You get some good numbers with them. Munches fuel though.
