    Short ram intake

What do you guys think of the this short ram from ebay? http://cgi.ebay.com.au/92-93-95-HOND...A1%7C294%3A200

for the honda civic EG VEi Vtec-E 1.5ltr sedan? Cold air is too expensive and just looking for extra performance. What do you guys think?

Do it but only buy it for the metal pipe.. the air filter wud be as useless as using a sponge for a filter. Grab a 3A racing or K+N etc pod filter to replace that one. Thats what I did.. and it works a charm!

i wouldnt buy it. 45 bucks plus 30 shipping is steep.
you can go to a muffler shop and ask them to mandrel bend you a piece of pipe to look exactly like that for less

i dont know of any muffler shop in your area but any shop can do it. i DIY'd my own CAI yrs back from offcuts they had lying about.
print off the pic of that intake and see if they have an offcut lying about or if they can make it.
use mild steel to keep the cost down and buy ceramic coat spray paint to spray the inside and outside of the intake.

still the custom pipings are rarely aluminium. They are steel, very heavy and the curbs not smooth. Be careful with that.
