need help with a 1977 civic

Hey all I'm going to be picking up a 77 civic with a blown headgasket. It's the 77 1200cc manual. Any idea exactly what kind of 1200cc it has in it? cause if its the same as the PH12 carb I will just grab a gasket set here in Manila and save me $$$. Otherwise I will have to swap the engine out for a newer one. Nothing wrong with that but I'm just lazy lol. thanks guys.

In reality finding another engine that will bolt on will be a pain, adapting something that is a bit closer in age would probably be better

Buy a D16a1 for some fun (and pain installing) or a EW2
