    Koni yellow EKs on an EG

    Hey all,

    I've done my research and have found that I can instal ek shocks with slight modifications to the eg lcas. This isn't a problem. My question is are these ek shocks suitable for me to put on eg king superlows? I can't seem to find my answer. Drop some knowledge ppls!

    since EK's use the fork type shocks, and if your using the EK shocks, you would just need to replace the rear lca with the same type.

    Springs will fit. Front shocks will fit. Rear shocks will require a couple of washers and your set

    thought it was the other way around?
    eg/dc shocks on ek needs washers
    ek shocks on eg/dc needs shaving of the lca bush
    may be wrong

    springs will fit but different heights...

    all i know is king EK super-lows = EG lows... cos i will be doing this... the part numbers are the same.

    so from this you know they'll fit, just what height would they end up being with that combo you're trying?

    good luck...

    @ vinny you're correct here:

    "thought it was the other way around?
    eg/dc shocks on ek needs washers
    ek shocks on eg/dc needs shaving of the lca bush
    may be wrong "

    @EK9

    that would mean eg superlows would = ek ultralows, so my setup would be ek konis with 'ek ultralows' then? normally on an ek this would lower it 6-7cms comparing to stock ek height, but since they're on an eg they'd function as eg superlows (5-6cms)...now i'm just confusing myself...the koni's however would be able to handle eg superlows and not wear out like superlows on stock shocks???....arghs
